Rani
has been manufacturing furniture and utility items for the past 15 years -
in styles and designs that are primarily influenced by the
european furniture of the colonial era
,
that extended between the 17th and 20th centuries, in India.
Strictly adhering to traditional english styles of furniture creation, Rani's artisans still stick on to olden methodologies - like mortise and tenon joints and hand rubbed finishing. Keeping up the environmental implications of its business in mind, Rani uses only recycled timber - as far as possible - for manufacturing its range of colonial furniture.
